Another squad completed for my Flawless Host with these Flawless Blades:
They don't get much love from the player base but in the precisely one game I've played they performed admirably hehe, killing many marines and a Lieutenant!

To round out my current collection to 1500pts i decided the quickest and cheapest way was a Daemon Prince... this one cheap from evil bay at around £30 for a 200+ point model was a great return haha:
I went with Syll'eske from the AoS range and a quick trim down of the Daemonette feet on the back bling and it was ready to go!
Trying to get the computer away from the kiddos during the holiday is proper hard haha! Finally get to post this pic from Saturday:
Still think the whip is silly but the rest of the model is superb! His bodyguard of Flawless Blades have arrived but its some Noise Marines first up.
The biggest squad in the army, a unit of ten Infractors:
The close combat version of the basic marine squad, these will be led into battle by the Lord Exultant I painted earlier!
Next up for the project is my Lord Exultant:
I decided against the cloak so needed a different right shoulder pad and had to modify the loincloth a bit. Back to the units again before tackling Lucius!
My second unit of Tormentors are done for now:
The shelf above the paint station is starting to look pretty cool now with a plethora of Chaos marines on the go!
Another week to get a model done... gonna be Xmas at this rate!
Quite a cool model to paint to be fair, and there are some variant parts so I can get a second one and it can look reasonably different.
First squad of Tormentors now done... have sat half painted all week!
I enjoyed painting these and am really happy how they turned out. I picked up a Lord Kakophanist today at the local GW so now have a full 1000pts of toys to paint up.
The other model i picked up before the Champions of Slaanesh box was a Chaos Sorcerer to try out a scheme idea with but never got round to it until today haha:
I didn't bother converting him or giving him a new head as ill only be fielding one of these at most in a list.
I picked up the Champions of Slaanesh box on release in March but I've not had a chance to start on it due to other projects in the queue! I also picked up a Sorcerer and a Terminator squad from one of the 40k magazines haha, and that all gives me about 1000pts to get cracking with.
I decided to start on the Terminators and test out the Flawless Host scheme on them:
Whilst waiting for some other bits to dry in the spraying process i decided to smash out some of the Tzaangors i have in my Thousand Sons:
I do not have the time or patience to paint up 31 Tzaangors as detailed as i would like so have chosen to take the cheaters path and just do them all as psychic projects and all etheral haha.
Another quick(ish) addition to the force today with a Terminator Sorcerer:
Luckily for me neither these or power armoured sorcerers take up a valuable HQ slot, which enables me to take quite a few powerful psykers in just the one battalion detachment.
Here is the warlord for my Blades of Magnus army:
Rather than buy the whole Exalted Sorcerers box I decided to convert my own from the 2nd Infernal Master I had when I picked up a cheap Hexfire half off a guy at the club and put him on Ahriman's disc as I had decided against that option to begin with.
A few tweaks like a head swap, hand swap and changing the top of the staff and I was set!
Been painting these on and off for the last couple of weeks, its been a bit of a grind but im glad they are done and really happy with them:
They constitute a massive part of my planned list at over 400pts for the unit in a 1500pt list haha, but they are really cool and should do great things!
Next up for these is Ahriman, creator of the Rubric which caused the non psyker marines in the legion to be come but dust in their armour… halting the slide into mutation but at a great cost!
I decided I didn't want him on the disc as that role will be taken by an Exalted Sorcerer in the very near future hehe.
Well well well, all it took was a shiny new book about the Egyptian space wizards and im back in the game whoop!
Something about this book looks to scratch an itch i never knew I had; small faction, bit unique, decent paint scheme, not too expensive.
I picked up the start collecting box and have a couple of TSons halves of the Hexfire box to get me going to begin... then I think I'll need some vehicles for some long range guns hehe.
