Searforge Commission: Brun & Lug

I don't know about you guys but I love revisiting old projects and giving them a new addition... just like my small Searforge force for Warmachine. I picked up Brun Cragback and Lug from a facebook seller BNIB for a bargain price that couldn't be refused so I snapped them up:

 

I still have plenty more to add to this army, I reckon im about 50% through the total available choices, and with the hotly anticipated battle engine due to come out with the Reckoning Book its never been a better time to pick up some Dorfs!



Searforge Commission: Tactical Arcanist Corps

I had picked these up as part of my Cephalyx army but subsequently sold that on before I did any work on them. I kept this unit out of the trade as they would find an acceptable home in y small Searforge force:

 

 

The dwarves are a small army I use from time to time but I will be steadily building them up to a full collection, especially having seen the art for the Rhulic Battle Engine spoiled on the forums... Hopefully it will be along in the Reckoning book due in March which will spur me on to add to my forces hehe.



Searforge Commission: Ogrun Assault Corps

I picked up these on the cheap from evilbay during our clubs journeyman league earlier in the year, but didn't plan to use them as part of the progression:

 

Fitting them in my standard list requires a bit of a shake up and I think i'll need another couple of additions to get it working right hehe.

Searforge Commission: January 15pts complete

I have finished the last three models to make up my initial 15pts force for our journeyman league at the Bunker:

I plan at 25pts to field a unit of Hammerfell High Shields so will be able to start Ossrum's Tier list, which at Tier 2 lets me advance deploy one unit and put down a trench. I will be able to plan another trench for every two units so I picked up a pack from Terrain Geek and got them painted up in advance of next months toys:

 

 





Searforge Commission: Hammer Time!

First up for 2014 is the start of a new warmachine project for our upcoming journeyman league at the Bunker... The Searforge Commission... Dwarves!!!!

These are the first of a large number of Rhulic models to be painted up in the four months. We have to stick to the one caster throughout the league so I picked General Ossrum as I feel overall he is the best Dwarf caster and I shall be working towards a 50pt Tier 4 list by the end of the league :-D
