Finished these off last night, the Warlock Shyryss painted as Lucario and Master Bellighul painted as Ash Ketchum haha:
Closing in on the end of this project now with just the light infantry guys to go!

Next up is the Khymaera support unit of Wyrmspire Shadowmancers:
Again painted as a tribute to Milotic haha, these bring the fury management to the faction and will be very handy!
A few more bits completed yesterday with a unit of Talon Death Dealers and a Shadowmancer Solo:
The Shadowmancer was painted as Milotic and the Death Dealers as Salazzle haha!
A few weeks back Wayland were having a sale and some of their older Warmachine MK4 boxes were 40% off! Too much of a bargain to resist so i picked up a Khymaera starter box and an additional Hydrix.
I has stumped for colour schemes until my girls suggested painting them as Pokemon hehe... so here's the start!
Vipex - Heavy Warbeast
The Vipex is painted as Rayquaza and the Hydrix are as Hydregion hehe, more to follow soon!
Here are some of the more basic troops for New Antioch with the four Yeomen and two Stormtroopers!
Looking forward to getting some games in now haha
I've printed off the models for a New Antioch warband now, and am slowly getting through them for painting! Here's the first bunch:
Trench Priest
I have six Yeomen / Stormtroopers ready to go next!
Last few bits have now been completed with this Plague Knight and Corpse Guards!
A Cheeky full warband shot at the end there!
I painted this whilst prepping an upcoming project, another mercenary solo that might see a bit of play but its such a cool model i had to add him to my forces:
Hopefully the additional Ulkor units i ordered will be here next week!
Next up for the Trench Crusade is my Lord of Tumors proxy:
A load of the guys at the Bunker are backing Trench Crusade so I've decided to build a few proxy warbands to get playing with and keep the hype going while we wait for the goodies to arrive hehe.
I scoured Cults 3d for some suitable proxies and soon ended up with a sizable selection of Black Grail models to print out! Here's the first batch of them:
Amalgam
Thats all the minion style models i'll need sorted, next up will be the character ones.
Last bits finished off for the Slovaks with two more Officers and some weapon teams:
This gives me enough Officers for a 1250pt game and rounds out my heavy weapons team hehe
Warlord finally sent my rulebook but have thus far squatted all the non "Armies of" nations so not a happy bunny! I have my first game lined up for a couple of weeks time and needed something a little heavier than my go-karts haha so picked up this Panzer 3!
Time for some heavy reinforcements for the Chaos boys with this big flappy haha:
Painted up my old Archaon on foot model i've been saving for a rainy day haha:
He's large enough to fit in with the newer AoS chaos stuff so will look good leading them as a chaos lord on foot at some point in the future.
Next from the pile of Chaos toys are these Skinwolves:
The models aren't great but they will do haha... i will need to get some more Marauders to actually be able to use them as they are locked to The Wolves of The Sea theme force doh!
Finished up my next two casters today:
Horruskh the Thousand Faces
Cant wait to use these two in games, far more my brutal direct approach to Warmachine than the others... Horruskh in particular is quite a simple caster to use so will be great for learning the intricacies of the game all over again!
Got these and a few other bits on release but only now found time for them:
I was going to get two boxes but the skinwolves and warpfire dragon also needed a purchase haha.
On a roll at the moment with the Orgoth, here's another couple of Warjacks completed:
Tyrant Heavy Jack with Flail and Gun Shield
Both are fully magnetised but I've only painted these loadouts as thats what i expect to be running most of the time with these.
A couple more solos completed today:
Vulcar Forgemaster - support Solo / Mechanic
Two lovely models that i think have turned out quite well, hopefully they will be decent in upcoming games!
Back after the LGT and a particularly savage week of work haha:
Finished the back rank of the unit yesterday evening:
Looking forward to giving the boys a run out tomorrow against my old Wadhrun nemesis haha
Back on the Dweg train, slower than planned with work being a bitch this last week but half my regiment is ready:
Magmaforged are a defensive powerhouse with high resolve, aura of death and lethal demise so they should be able to punish anyone that wants to get into a grind with them haha.
The next three stands are dry brushed ready for the slapchop to begin tomorrow on my last Monday off before i start back full time at work.
A couple more units completed over the last few days:
Ulkor Gnashers (Cursebound Cadre)
Finished up the big lad last night and pretty happy how he turned out!
Its a bit of a pain to photograph so this was the best angle i could sort out, the sword glow is the same as on the previous cadre models with the green and stone drybrush.
On to the Gnashers tonighr!
A few more bits completed today in a unit of Rhok Harriers; the Orgoth cavalry, and Helexus the Warlord; a powerful melee solo!
I have a Grhotten Champion in progress that will hopefully be completed tomorrow along with another unit of some sort ahead of Wednesdays games.
Next up is another Warcaster, Sabbreth:
The spell slinger caster of the faction, I'll be using her in games on Wednesday!
I finished this lad on Wednesday ahead of my gams in the evening but only now have had the chance to post it:
Grhotten Keepers are the armoured defensive version of the heavy solo for the Orgoth, hopefully I'll have a few more bits done ahead of games next week!
I managed to find a Cursebound Cadre box still available so got it ordered on my way home from hols and it arrived Saturday evening!
I started with Oriax, and also the Ravener:
Ravener (Heavy Monstrosity)
The rest of the Cadre are primed and based ready for some games on Wednesday!
I've been working on these on and off for a couple of weeks, never having sufficient time to get stuck into them properly until today!
I have a second unit of these i plan on running at the upcoming LGT along with a big block of either Flame Berzerkers or Magmaforged... choices choices!
They are fast for Dweg with Spd6 and have plenty of attacks with cleave to dish out some hurt hopefully.
