Warmaster: Beastherd and done... for now!

 These last two Beastherd units complete my first draft list to learn the game with:

More of the same as the previous units but im glad they are done hehe.

Warmaster: Beastmen Chariots!

 The long awaited chariot swarm is finally completed!

Really pleased with how these have turned out, they look great lined up with the rest of the herd on my project shelf hehe, just a few more bits to do now.

Warmaster: Wargor on Chariot

 Now that my stockpile of chariots has arrived I can get cracking on my chariot hordes hehe, first up is a tester with a hero on one to see how they would work on the bases etc:

Turned out ok so will get smashing on the four units as soon as a small project is done!

Warmaster: Bestigors and Dragon Ogres (Razorgores whoop!)

 Back on this project for a bit hehe, with some Bestigors for some much needed infantry hitting power and a unit of hilariously expensive Razagores to proxy for Dragon Ogres!

Warmaster: Beastmen Herdkin ready for the Ambush!

 Next up for the growing throng are these four regiments of Herdkin:

These chaps are similar to the Warhammer Ungor but they have combined the two units into one with a fighting and a shooty profile.

These are from Pendraken so look a little different from the blocks of Beastherd I painted earlier.

I have another Wargor on route, but he's getting a chariot mount which is also still to arrive!

 Another successful day yesterday, I managed to get these four units of Chaos Hounds painted as well:

Warmaster: Sound the Brayhorns! The Beastmen gather!

 Some of my mates are running and also attending the London GT for Warmaster this year... and after years of badgering me I've finally decided to get in on it! But not with the Daemons I was working on earlier in the year haha, that would be too easy!

This is my first brigaded of four Beastherd units completed :-D

I have double this, and eight units of Chaos Hounds waiting in the queue, and more on the way!

Warmaster: Moar Demon Infantry

 Last of my Demon infantry finished today:

That's a nice start to an army with six regiments of these forming the core! I will soon be placing an order with Barry at Blackgate Miniatures for some reinforcements :-D  

Warmaster: Demon Infantry!

 I finished off another couple of units of the demon infantry for my Warmaster army today:

Pretty straightforward and quick to do hehe, just one more of these left in the stockpile till i can pop up the road to Black Gate Miniatures and get some more bits and pieces.

 Just a quickie today, finished off this regiment of daemon infantry in between coats on the next unit of Dust models:

Plenty more of these to do, will plod along with the army as and when i can.

Starting on my own Warmaster Daemon army from Black Gate Miniatures, here are a couple of regiments of the infantry:

Each unit in the army will hopefully have a different combination of skin and fur colours to make them a proper riot of colour and make the units easier to manage on the board. The army will be linked together by the weapons and banners remaining the same throughout.

Black Gate Miniatures: Demons Kickstarter is live!

As the title says, the demons campaign has begun!

It started yesterday and funded within three hours yeah, and now we are down a couple of stretch goals with the demonic hounds and the demonic chariots also funded!

I have done quite a lot of painting for Black Gate over the last few years and can heartily recommend the Ogres and these new demons to anyone in the market for a new 10mm force.... back the campaign and you wont be disappointed :-D

Black Gate Miniatures: Enter the Demons!

Black Gate Miniatures, producers of a very fine range of 10mm Ogres, are coming back with a new range in the very near future... Demons!

I was given a few of the first casts of the first sculpt completed by Robi to paint up and review:

I went for a some non-standard schemes to trail out stuff rather than a traditional red or flesh tone, and im tempted to go with a riot of colours for when i get passed some more over the coming weeks hehe, should look good in a fully based unit i reckon.
