40K: Chaos Lord and Chaos Sorcerer

 Finished off my HQ choices with this Chaos Lord and Chaos Sorcerer!

Waiting on a cheeky 3d print Landraider to arrive and I think they are good to go!

40K: Rogue Trader Chaos Terminators

 When sourcing the models for this chaos army i knew i wanted to include a fair chunk of Rogue Trader era stuff as I never had any of the chaos from this far back.

The crown jewels of the force are a full space of terminators:

The Chaos Lord and Sorcerer are next on the paint station!

40K: A 3rd Chaos Marines Squad

 Some spare time was had this evening so this next squad of Chaos boys was painted up:

With just a squad of terminators and a couple of characters to round out the 1500pts it will hopefully be not too long until its completed!

 Got home from work at a decent time so smashed out this chaos marines squad this evening:

40K: Chaos Space Marines Squad

 Now that all my Squats are done i can get on with some other projects, namely my 2nd edition Chaos Marines army.

Ive finished of one of the squads today, done to match the Dreadnought i painted a month or so ago:

Im using a right old mix of models in this army with original Rogue Trader renegades, 2nd ed minis and plenty of 3d prints of renegades and space crusade marines!

 Continuing with the theme of Dreadnoughts, here is a modern reimaging of the classic Chaos Dreadnought:

Going for an Emperor's Children look to my chaos army but in the old skool style rather than like my existing Flawless Host.

My massive Black Legion chaos marine army is hitting ebay over the course of the wkend, 8000pts nearly all painted to a reasonable standard. I dont play 40k anymore and its just taking up space in my man cave, its my last GW army, kind of sad to see it depart but the needs must...

Both the Cultist squads are finished so thats the Chaos army done, really enjoyed painting them as they were quite challenging! On with the Dark Angels over the next week or so...

4TK Dark Vengeance: Chaos Lord & Helbrute

This commission has really gathered steam now, the Chaos Lord and Helbrute are finished and ready. The Lord was quite fidly to do but the Helbrute kit is brilliant to paint... i recomend it to painters out there to pick up even if they dont collect Chaos forces!

4TK Dark Vengeance: Chosen

The first unit for this commission is complete, the 6 Chosen armed with a variety of power weapons. these models are very detailed, lots of work was required to pick out the red armour in between the gold and the bone sections!

More to follow over the coming weeks, ive got a mates wedding tomorrow so none will be started till monday evening, not sure what to get done next tho...

A sad day looms....

It is a sad day my friends... its time to sell my Black Legion army.

I cannot reconsile using them with another chaos codex that is so far removed from my ideals of how they should be. Over the next week the entire 8000pts will be going on on ebay, i'll post a link to the sales on here.

I like the new codex enough to build up a renegade chapter army tho, painted slowly to the highest standard, but this will have to wait till my current commissions are completed. I'll have to study up on schemes and find a good one!

Im not sure on the force to use as yet, but the dark vengeance set will form the core, and im not fussed on making it competative as i only paint what i like to paint rather than what the internet says is good.
