The last block of Paraguayan irregulars are now done:

This leaves me with a unit of cavalry and a cannon to do but I'm going to have a short break as there is some star wars legion to be played next week and i have some reinforcements to get ready haha

The Men Who Would Be Kings: Paraguayan Irregulars

 Bit of a delay posting these but here is the next unit for the Triple Alliance project:

This time its a unit of Irregular Infantry to represent the extra recruits added to the core of more professional soldiers at the start of the war. I used mostly the models with chipas and mixed up the shirts to show the disheveled state of the army. 

The Men Who Would Be Kings: Second Paraguayan Infantry

Busy busy this last week, I've not had any time to pick up a paint brush since last Monday! Here is my second unit of Regular Infantry for my Paraguayan army for MWWBK:

My flags have also arrived now so in addition to getting this unit done i went back and added the flag to the first infantry:

The other flag pack does not have the crest in the middle so will be perfect to differentiate the Regulars from the Irregular infantry which are my next two units.

So this is the start of one of my two big historical based gaming projects for the year, the War of the Triple Alliance! First unit of Paraguayans that will be regular infantry in the game:

 

I'm still waiting on my flags to arrive from Flags of War so cant have them battlefield dressed quite yet haha... 12 down and 48 to go!
