Daikinees... Penultimate post!

A big blitz on Daikinees yesterday and today, ive finished nine of the remaining twelve I had left to go:

Daikinee Countdown

Right, im making a concerted effort to finish off my Daikinee army for Confrontation, they are the last models i have to paint up from 2012! Its not that i dont like them or cant be arsed, its just a case of new shiny has always come in between me and them... my mate Sherwin still has his Devourers to finish and they are from feb last year too, and he has added more Skorne than god to his Hordes haha.

I painted these up quick last night, rough and ready schemes are whats needed, and these all must be done by the summer as the Convergence will be my sole focus (see what i did there!) for a long time when they are released in July.

Been away from the paint station for a bit, ive had lots of stuff to do with the kids and i attended the RIOTBOWL on the 18/19th with the Devastation.... came 5th! 2/1/2 were my results, cracking event hosted by the RIOTS club in romford. Its gonna be a bigger field next year but hopefully i can repeat the performance.

In other news, 6th ed 40k is out.... i'll pass on that thank you!

Work on the Daikinee will be starting up this week as what free hobby time ive had has been playing warmachine, 2 wins out of 3 with Lord Carver and the pigz are on a roll hahahaha

Warriors of Dreams - Confrontation Daikinee Elves!

As well as my on going Drune army, i have started to put together a small Daikinee Elves force... and for once i do mean small! There were very few Daikinee ever made, far fewer than the Drunes even, and they arent a big faction.It has been hard work tracking down all the different figures from across the globe, but it is a rewarding game to get into, very enjoyable and tactical, with many play styles available for each faction.
