WFB End Times Commission: Moar Swordmasters

The second unit of Swordmasters are now completed along with a couple of infantry characters:

This marks the completion of this stage of the project until a rather large Dragon arrives on my doorstep haha

The space in the unit is for another character model i am yet to do, and there is another unit of these bad boys waiting in the wings haha.

Painting up these elves has given me great insight in to how i will be doing my Wargods Amazons when i get a chance to start them :-D

WFB End Times Commission: Dark Riders

Apologies for the lack of updates this last week but i have been beavering away on several projects all at once, including a return to this project with a couple of units of Dark Riders:

My client did the conversions himself on these from a mix of dark elf warriors, colone rifer and dragon prince parts. We decided to leave the bases blank for this one as he wants to create some special bases himself using cork tiles.

WFB End Times Commission: Bolt Throwers

Quite literally haha, two High Elf Bolt Throwers:

 

My client is undecided on how we will make the crew for now as he plans to use a mixture of high and dark elf warmachines, so a combined kitbash crew will be constructed further down the line.

WFB End Times Commission: Phoenix Guard & Archmage

Next up for this project is a unit of 24 Phoenix Guard led by an Archmage:

 

I have been working on these as work permitted over the week but never had a decent stretch at it until yesterday evening when I was able to complete them ;-D


Next up for this project will be a Battle Standard Bearer and an Anointed Hero... then there is talk of something large, scaly and that may breath fire haha



WFB End Times Commission: Executioners

A little over a month ago I was contacted by a chap in Australia who had found links to some of the Dark Elves I painted up last year. He was after a mixed force of Elves to use as an End Times army in Warhammer!

It took a bit of time for everything to arrive with both of us ordering in the necessary bits for the commission to begin, but the first unit was ready to start on Monday and is now completed:
