Trying to get the computer away from the kiddos during the holiday is proper hard haha! Finally get to post this pic from Saturday:
Still think the whip is silly but the rest of the model is superb! His bodyguard of Flawless Blades have arrived but its some Noise Marines first up.

The close combat version of the basic marine squad, these will be led into battle by the Lord Exultant I painted earlier!
Next up for the project is my Lord Exultant:
I decided against the cloak so needed a different right shoulder pad and had to modify the loincloth a bit. Back to the units again before tackling Lucius!

The shelf above the paint station is starting to look pretty cool now with a plethora of Chaos marines on the go!
Another week to get a model done... gonna be Xmas at this rate!
Quite a cool model to paint to be fair, and there are some variant parts so I can get a second one and it can look reasonably different.
