Rounding out a year of painting with my last Baratheon models, a second unit of Rhllor Queens Men:
Like the lightbringers i did a few weeks ago i wanted them to start apart on the board but also link in with the rest of the predominantly yellow Stannis side of the army.
Now to write some double Queens men lists to terrorize the local tables with haha!

I managed to snag Polish copies of Heroes 3 and 4 recently, and started on the Stannis side models first:
Bryen Farring and Dale Seaworth
Not sure how much use ill get from Bryen Farring and Dale Seaworth, or Justin Massey Commander but the other models work well enough in their in-game roles!
Trying to get through more Baratheons before my Manowar models finally(!) arrived haha, starting with this second unit of R'hllor Lightbringers for the Stannis side:
This unit has yellow bows rather than metal to easily differentiate the pair on the board!
And here are the rest of Wave 1 with Beastman, Scareglow and some teleporters:
Digging down the cupboard of opportunity and I've reached the two boxes of the MoTU game expansions i bought a few months ago, here are the Masters:

Finished off the speeder bus for my Shadow Collective today:
Not the most exciting model to paint haha, but I've given it the Maul treatment slightly... i didn't fancy doing the full crests or extra spikes but im happy enough with it.
Delving further into the cupboard of opportunity we have these Swoop Bike Riders for my Shadow Collective army:
Trickier to paint and also to use than the units i already have, but with such a limited selection of models i wanted to have at least one of each choice available to me.
I have one of the AA5s to build next, and will eventually add Cad Bane and Bossk to my collection.
A few of the guys have decided to take a trip down nostalgia lane and get some games in of 90s classic Man o War haha!
I've decided to pick up a Chaos Fleet as i never had one the first time round in 1993, and first up is the glorious Bane Tower of Tzeentch:
Bask in the glory that is early 90s GW sculpting and paint schemes hehe! I'm waiting on the rest of the fleet to arrive from Etsy as there are a few 3d print proxies available for the Khorne and Slaanesh parts of the fleet.
Well that took longer than hoped... Two weeks to finish off twelve models haha:
That completes my Baratheon army, and also my ASOIAF collection, and hopefully the new Heroes Boxes 3 and 4 wont be too long a wait!

First unit of Pikemen completed, and the second one is started hehe. The Tyrell stuff is much more complex to paint than the regular units so this has taken most of the day to do but I'm really happy with the results.
I'm going to reverse the scheme for the other block i think.

Went reversey percy on the colour scheme i did on the first lot, came out quite good i think.
A few cheeky additions to my collection for ASOIAF as i want to put aside my Champions and try other list ideas for a while, and the Golden Company form the crux of one of those options:

My plan is to run a unit of the swordsmen with Axell commander for morale 3+ hehe, then a unit of Queens men with a Stag Knight Noble for another morale 4+ unit. The army is rounded out by a War Elepehant and a unit of Lightbringers, with Selyse & Shireen and Davos as my NCUs.
I can make the Elephant R'hillor with Selyse & Shireen which in this list will bring all kinds of good things to it, including a one off return to life on D3 wounds.
After what seems like an age I'm back painting! And finally got the Spartan from the Age of Darkness box painted up:
The big lad sits proudly on the shelf waiting on its Primarch and his retinue to board haha
Last few bits for my ISA are now completed:

This all gives me a fully fleshed out 15+3 force for large games, i will in time add the Cadre force of Alliance Regulators but that can wait for now till ive got more games in with it.

Absolutely love these guys in the game, everything you could want for a unit; hard hitting super durable and mobile.. for Baratheon's anyway Haha.

Painted whilst building up the next Warcaster models! I'd seen a few Exodus conversions based off the praetors from the box and this is my version:
Primaris Eliminator parts scale well with the silly larger praetor models, and the addition of a greenstuff cloak to replace the rather elaborate one from the stock model hehe.
Time for another couple of models for my ISA:

A couple of guys down the club have decided to give Warcaster a go and after watching some batreps i decided to get involved as well.
A quick squizz through the factions and i had a bunch of Iron Star Alliance minis on order from a few places haha:

Closing in on the end of the Age of Darkness box now, here are the Cataphractii Terminators completed:
I went with mostly lightning claws to go murdering other marines with but added a pair of chainfists to give them some extra punch into heavier vehicles if needed.
The plan is for my Praetor to accompany this squad in a Spartan for 2000-2500pt games and then switch out for Alpharius in larger clashes!
Finished off some long range punch for my army with this Heavy Support Squad:
Really pleased how these guys turned out, and also how the force is coming together now. I had the twin fails of running out of primer and no post today so have build ten terminators rather than my Exodus conversion haha.
Finished these guys last night but needed the inks to dry before basing!
That's both my Kill Teams finished so its on to the Heavy Support Squad next, and when some bits from ebay arrive the hated sword praetor can become Exodus!
Finished up my first Headhunter Kill Team today:
I used a squad of the beakies from the big box (Got another team on the go!) with some Kromlech parts to give them different bolters and a multi melta for that sweet infiltrating justice haha.
I'm really enjoying painting these Alpha legion models up, they all look rather striking on my display shelf... I think i have around 1100pts painted up so far!
