Necromunda Adeptus Arbites Commission

A guy at the Bunker asked me to paint up his Arbites gang for the clubs upcoming necromunda campaign, and bar a couple of touch ups I noticed during photographing they are complete:

 



World of Twilight: last 2 days!

The World of Twilight kickstarter campaign is entering the last two days and is closing in on the £15,000 stretch goal:

 

 

 

 

One of the recent goals passed was a postcard to be included with our rulebook pledges, and Mike posted up the art for it... its beautiful! Im tempted to convert it to a canvas print for my games room!

 

 

 

 

 

The other important development is Mike's decision to release a playtest force for the Frenu, the fourth culture in the world of Anyarl! I have pledged for a set of these to take part in the playtesting and help shape a new force for the game:

The Frenu Kopa is yet to be sculpted but the rest of the range shows a lot of promise. Im looking forward to getting these along with the Delgon force for some small games with Jacob :-D

Spotlight: Twilight Miniatures

Twilight Miniatures is running a very successful Kickstarter Campaign, stretched goals are smashed and a lot of greater starter forces have been created from it!

Mike Thorp, the creator of Twilight, sent me this little chap to paint up and review:

 

 

He is a NuraKira Priest from the Delgon faction in the game, a Northern offshoot of the Fubarnii.

 

 

Its a one piece model, no clean up or mould lines to sort out which was great. The whole range is full of character, a totally unique world created by Mike and his playtesters!

 

 

 

Im really looking forward to getting some more of these badboys :-D

Cult of Yurei: Nezumi and Friends

I can't believe its been 3 months since I've painted any bushido models! This is Nezumi and his rat Swarms for my Cult of Yurei warband, i'll be busting them out in our Way of the Warrior league at the bunker in a week or so:

CoA Revisited: Commission part deux

More ships and tanks for the Covenant of Antarctica! Ive been painting these on and off during the week but having had some epic days with work its only now they are finished:

 

 

 

There are a few more to go, including that immense flying dreadnought... anyone who's seen "Iron Sky" will recognise the influence that the Gottedamurung had on it haha

 

We are all going Guild Ball crazy!

Well two weeks into Guild Ball's kickstarter and its really picking up the pace now! Rich and Mat are starting to get all the pieces to come together and the first metal casts of the Fishermen's Captain Shark are in:

 

In addition to the original four teams, a fifth team in the Brewers have been made available, and we are three stretch goals into the Union team which are available as free add ons to pledges or separately for multiples.

 

 

Mat came down to the bunker last wednesday and ran through several demo games with some of the boys. We managed to pry some spoilers out of him but im sworn to secrecy... or Mr Longshanks will be after me :-D

 

 

Next week im getting Mat up to speed with bushido so hopefully I will have some more info to release haha
